BONT High Temperature Ball Valves
BONT HTB ball valve is designed for high
temperature, bubble tight service. The
primary innovation of this valve resides
in the seat design. It is not the usual
metal to metal seat, but an original
patented semi-soft seat.
HTB ball valves are fully rated as per
applicable Standard, suitable for any
kind of fluid compatible with graphite,
highly resistant to erosion, very
effective in the handling of fluids
containing abrasives and any dirty media
and maintenance free. |

WVE - Trunnion and Floating Ball Valves
Standard and Special Valves for high
pressure and high temperature soft or
metal to metal seats to be used in a
variety of industrial applications
including cryogenic, subsea,
underground, oil and gas pipelines
and shaft hauling, pharmaceutical,
energy and power, food and beverage,
chemical and petrochemical. Bonetti WVE
ball valves meet the highest
technological and qualitative
requirements of power industry, of
chemical & petrochemical industry, as
well as any other kind of industry that
manages fluids. WVE ball valves fit into
a very wide range of applications and
working operations, on a very wide range
of fluids, both liquid and gas, in the
most severe working conditions.
Bonetti WVE ball valves are designed to
withstand high pressure and both high or low
temperature (cryogenic applications) and can be
manufactured according to the customers'
specifications or requirements. |

Trunnion Mounted Fully Welded Ball Valves
Bonetti's fully welded, trunnion mounted
ball valves are the best solution to
avoid fugitive emissions from the valve
body and stem seal in gas or underground
applications. They are recommended for
oil and gas applications, specially for
gas transmission and storage. To comply
with the specific requirements of such
applications, all valves are
bidirectional and include the double
block and bleed feature. Therefore,
venting and draining of the body cavity
is possible in both open and closed
positions. |

HTL Seating Inserts – for high temperature tight shut off service to size 12”
This revolutionary design,
using alternating layers of pure graphite and
stainless steel (or other alloys on request),
assure bubble tight seat shut-off with a very
low operating torque while rated for high
pressure and temperature (up to 550°
C - 120°
F in presence of Oxygen, or higher in absence of
it). |
| |
|
|
 |
Seat feature:
-
Multi-layer metal/graphite seating
system: each single layer guarantees
an independent sealing. Damages to
some layers do not affect the
sealing capacity of the others.
-
Zero leakage "bubble tight" shut-off
due to machining accuracy, low
tolerances, multiple lamination and
the resilient metal/graphite to
metal sealing that allows severe
differential expansions and
self-compensation for high
differential temperatures between
ball and seat without affecting the
perfect tightness of the valve.
-
Low torque operation is guaranteed
both by the resilience of the
multi-layer seat ring as well as by
the self-lubrication of the
graphite. A smaller actuator size
and lower torque is needed to
operate the valve.
-
Intrinsically fire-safe design
thanks to seat components that are
non-combustible, making the HTL
equipped valves fire-safe. The valve
performance will not change in case
fire should occur outside or inside
the valve.
-
The high resistance to erosive media
containing abrasive particles,
yields perfect sealing with
practically endless valve life, even
after hundreds of thousands of
operating cycles.
